Chief of Staff KC is working with a local company to hire a Strategic Buyer!
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute strategic sourcing processes considering total cost of ownership and quality to meet service levels.
- Conduct market research, cost analysis, and prepare negotiation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize supply chain solutions.
- Identify and assess supplier capabilities to align with customer requirements.
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring favorable terms.
- Implement supply changes seamlessly with minimal disruption.
- Continuously evaluate procurement practices and recommend cost-saving improvements.
- Manage purchase orders and reschedule based on planning needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of procurement or materials management experience; management experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Expertise in contract negotiation and strategic sourcing.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
